As part of an ongoing plan to upgrade and maintain the aging infrastructure within Kenyon, the City is planning for the reconstruction of the following streets (illustrated below):
Improvements to these areas will include the complete replacement of bituminous pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk, watermain and services, and sanitary sewer mains and services. The project will also include the extension and upgrading of storm sewer throughout the project area. The extension of water and sanitary sewer service to the south end of Red Wing Avenue is also included in the project.
The estimated cost of the proposed improvements is $3.707 Million. A portion of the project costs will be assessed to adjacent properties in general accordance with Chapter 429 of the Minnesota Statutes.
