The project involved the installation of two 84-inch pipes with a capacity around 525 cfs extending 1,200 linear feet into the Atlantic Ocean.
This large-scale drainage improvement and ocean outfall project is approximately 90 acres in size in a highly developed section of Myrtle Beach with 100 percent runoff. Bolton & Menk was responsible for the on-shore and off-shore designs for this project which included the installation of two 84-inch pipes with a capacity around 525 cfs extending 1,200 linear feet into the Atlantic Ocean.
